In recent times there were chickens feeding in what is now a cosy and inviting garden, reached via the reception area which houses a display of the basket weaving tools used by Lupe’s father. The hammers, saws and ironwork are almost as old as the house itself. In the entrance you will find all the information necessary for your day out (routes, places of interest) or if you prefer newspapers to sit and read.
The old stable is now the dining room, and next to it is a peaceful sitting room with a
piano,  used in spring for concerts with flutes.
Breakfasts are hearty affairs with natural, home-made products, carefully selected and served at the table: freshly squeezed juices, fruit, home made sweets, fresh toast, jams, butters, local honey, cold cuts, local cheese, egg and bacon, corn bread. It’s not surprising that the El Pais newspaper rated the breakfasts here in the top ten in the whole of Spain.
Lunch and dinner are not normally served as there is no restaurant. However, for walkers, especially frequent from the UK, a special dinner menu can be prepared, varying from day to day and consisting of high quality traditional dishes. This consists of a starter, main course and sweet, all home-made. As these meals are ordered on reserving your stay, there is a vegetarian option.
Instead of a meal we can offer a cold snack in your room; cold cuts, cheese, fruit, yoghurt etc..
